Music House

This series of works is devoted to my daughter, who brought me to a wonderful concert for Mother’s Day at Carriage House, Cornell, where I got all the inspirations. The works aim to show this dreamy condition when you listen to a concert and observe the poetic surrounding of the interior. Flickering lights from the windows on the barn style roof and all the memorabilia, from a sailboat on the windowsill to the one wheel bike above it, suggest playfulness and venturing spirit. I hope my works can further invoke spiritual uplifting as the actual environment in which I was does.
